Denver, Colorado
The Denver Merchandise Mart specializes in the trade show industry; producing shows, leasing facilities to trade show promoters, and leasing space for permanent showrooms. Founded in 1965, it is one of only a few such facilities in the world. From its start as a showroom facility, the Mart has developed into the largest privately-owned trade show complex in the region.
The Denver Merchandise Mart Complex is comprised of three buildings: the Mart, the Expo Building and the Pavilion. The Mart facility features 500 showrooms leased to independent sales representatives and manufacturers in the gift, souvenir, apparel, accessory, western, gourmet, jewelry, furniture and carpeting industries. These independent businesses provide resources for retailers throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Trade and consumer shows are conducted at the Mart for the above industries as well as numerous other groups such as food wholesalers, doll collectors, gun collectors, associations, businesses and corporations. These shows and events are held in the Mart, the Expo Building and/or the Pavilion.
The Mart is a full-service facility with a seasoned staff and a history of vision and achievement. Their success can be measured by their over 30-year track record of hosting major events and the high volume of repeat business. The diversification of the business provides for fiscally-responsible, efficient use of resources and personnel while continually increasing profitability.
