The Avaña subdivision is located south of the Circle C Ranch at State Highway 45 and Escarpment Boulevard. The 1,046 lot community sits
on over 1,000 acres in one of Austin’s most beautiful areas. A majority
of the lots are heavily wooded with gorgeous views of Southwest Austin’s rolling hill country. Part of the project constitutes the area closest to SH-45 and will include 50-foot frontage lots in a neighborhood called Esquel.

Most of the lots either face or are on greenbelt land, offering easy access to hiking trails, and other leisure time facilities. The City of Austin has acquired the majority of land surrounding the Avaña project for open space. The community will consist of 1,046 homes offering a diverse selection of development styles crafted by eight of the most well-known and talented homebuilders. Superior school systems as well as swim and tennis clubs, and the prestigious Grey Rock 18-hole golf course populate the surrounding area. A 208-unit luxury residential/resort golf course community is also planned. Construction of homes will start in the first quarter 2009 and continue over a three-year period. Lot sizes will range from 50-100 frontage feet lots with some lots designated as “golf course” lots, which are larger and immediately adjacent to the proposed golf course.
